Assistant Management Accountant Sheffield, South Yorkshire Elevation Accountancy & Finance Recruitment is delighted to be working with a local business to assist in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for career growth, including the chance to take ownership of preparing full management accounts up to the review stage.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, covering accruals, prepayments, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the budgeting process and contribute to cash flow forecasting
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices within the finance team
  • Work closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy during audits
  • Assist in the implementation of a new company-wide system

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Practical experience with accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Progression toward a professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA (desirable)
