The Company Overview:We are working with a reputable accountancy practice based in Sheffield, known for providing high-quality audit and accounting services to a diverse client base. They are now seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team.
Your New Role as Audit & Accounts Senior:As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients, delivering both audit and accounting services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while fostering strong client relationships. This position provides a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical expertise and take on increasing responsibility in a professional and collaborative environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Preparing financial statements and management accounts for a variety of clients.
- Reviewing work completed by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Acting as a key contact for clients, providing advice and resolving queries.
- Managing workloads to ensure deadlines are met within budget.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified (or equivalent) or close to qualification, with a strong background in both audit and accounts preparation gained within a practice environment. Excellent communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively are essential for success in this role.
