We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent firm of accountants with over 30 years of experience, who are looking to hire aSenior Accountant/ Managerfor their Sheffield office. This firm offers a supportive work environment and manages a diverse client portfolio.
This role presents a great opportunity for a skilled accountant to take on a senior position within a respected firm, gaining exposure to a wide range of audit and accounting functions while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries
- Assisting with client audits from planning through to completion
- Preparing statutory accounts and management accounts
- Producing management information and financial reports
- Handling corporate and personal tax compliance
- Providing training and advice on accounting software
- Offering commercial business support and consultancy
- Assisting in staff development and training
Skills and Experience Required:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the accountancy profession
- Prior audit experience is highly desirable
- Strong technical skills in audit, tax, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
