Audit Senior Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our client in Sheffield. With a strong regional presence, this role provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, leading the planning, prioritisation, and allocation of client work while ensuring effective team coordination. You will be the main point of contact for Audit & Assurance Directors and Partners, manage key client relationships, and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Previous experience as a Senior Manager in a practice environment or Audit Manager seeking the next step
  • Strong ability to offer creative solutions and deliver exceptional experiences for the firm
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio and leading relationships with key contacts within the firm
  • A collaborative mindset, accustomed to working closely with Partners and Directors
  • Clear communicator, able to explain complex audit matters effectively
  • Knowledgeable in relevant industry topics, staying updated to contribute to discussions on how these apply in the context of the audit

Skills & Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • UK practice experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant UK taxes, including Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, etc., to ensure accurate presentation in financial statements.
  • In-depth understanding and practical experience with the International Standards on Auditing (UK and Ireland)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled at prioritising tasks under tight deadlines and thriving under pressure.
  • Proactive with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
