FINANCE OFFICER - Part Time £30,225 to £32,175 Pro Rata plus benefitsAll Saints Ecclesall is a busy Parish Church (Registered Charity) with our halls hired by many local groups. We are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Officer (working 20 hours per week) to join our operations team of seven staff, reporting to the Operations Manager and with line management responsibility for a Finance Assistant. You will also work closely with the volunteer Treasurer to ensure strong stewardship of our finances. It is an exciting time to join as we seek to expand our activities.We are looking for someone to lead our day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting. You will have a proven track record of working in a hands-on finance role for a minimum of 3 years and it is likely you will be AAT qualified or equivalent. A knowledge of Quick Books and Charity Accounting would be ideal, but not essential, but a strong knowledge of Microsoft software is important. You will be comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of staff and volunteers, with the opportunity to develop the role. You will need to be highly organized and resilient and be able to work proactively with minimal supervision. You will also be a confident communicator, used to dealing with a wide range of people.
