Job Description:
Role Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Financial Controller to oversee all financial activities, ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, and provide strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the company's financial stability.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of financial strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). - desirable
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Experience in a professional or financial services environment - desirable
