Our client, a leading marketing company, is offering a fixed-term contract for a senior position in their financial accountancy team in Sheffield.
The role comes with a salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 plus benefits and requires a qualified accountant.
Key responsibilities include managing annual accounts, monthly reporting, and maintaining the General ledger accounts.
The successful candidate will also liaise with external auditors and lead a small team to ensure accurate monthly reporting.
Candidates should have experience in producing financial accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.

Our client, a leading marketing company, is seeking to recruit a rare opportunity for a senior position within their financial accountancy team. It will be your responsibility to manage their annual accounts and monthly reporting.

Your duties will include:

Producing annual accounts under UK GAAP, IFRS
Maintenance of the General ledger accounts
Liaise with external auditors ensuring that the statutory audits both internal and external run smoothly
Lead a small team of people who produce the financial accounts for the business ensuring that monthly reporting is accurate and within the companys deadlines

To be successful you will be a qualified accountant and have experience of producing financial accounts. You will be technically competent, have previous experience of preparation of annual accounts to UK GAAP & IFRS Accounting standards.
