The Opportunity
We are partnering exclusively with Henry Boot, a leading UK land, property development, home building, and construction business, to recruit an Interim Management Accountant. Â With a history dating back to 1886, Henry Boot is renowned for transforming land and spaces, creating long-term positive impacts on society, the environment, and the economy. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and project-specific profit analysis.
- Assist with cash flow forecasts and statutory accounts.
- Support budget and business plan preparation, monitoring performance.
- Manage audits, tax returns (VAT, Corporation Tax, CIS), and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee sales, purchase, and subcontractor ledgers, manage payments, and ensure effective credit control.
- Coach junior finance team members, improve processes, and enhance financial systems.
The Person
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong financial reporting experience (PQ or QBE with the right experience will be considered.)
- Skilled in financial controls, compliance, and tax matters.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in financial software and reporting tools.
