My client is seeking a talented part qualified or newly qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team in Sheffield, where you'll play a key role in producing monthly management accounts and providing valuable insight to support business decisions.
About the Role:
As Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for preparing and delivering a full set of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting. Working closely with the finance team, you'll help analyze financial performance, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to improving financial processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Management Accounts: Produce and present monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and complete reporting.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial results to provide insight into business performance, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with senior finance and operational teams.
- Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis to support pricing, margin, and profitability assessments.
- Process Improvement: Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be either part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with solid experience in producing a full set of management accounts. You'll have strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders across the business.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
- Proven experience in preparing a full set of monthly management accounts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Manufacturing industry experience (preferred but not essential).
