The hours of work are 35 hours per week full time.
The primary function of the role is to oversee and manage the financial reporting and analysis processes for the company. This involves ensuring the timely and accurate production of management accounts, supporting the budgeting process, and providing financial insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Reporting into the Finance Manager and Head of Finance, this will be a varied role with duties to include: -
- Production of consolidated Monthly Management Accounts
- Production of multiple P&Ls
- Perform monthly management accounts review meetings
- Day to day management of an Assistant Management Accountant
- Perform variance analysis along with related commentary
- Hold regular meetings with budget holders
- Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
- Cashflow forecasting
- Preparation of audit pack and interim pack for audit review
- Complete National Statistic Returns
- VAT returns
- Balance sheet reconciliation and review
- Any other ad-hoc duties/ project work
To be successful you will have the following skills and experiences: -
- Qualified/ late Part Qualified CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA (Qualifid by Experiecne will also be considered)
- Confident communicator
- Good IT skills (Including Excel)
- Team player
- Staff management experience would be beneficial
