Management Accountant6 Month FTC Sheffield £45,000 - £55,000 Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering exclusively with a leading business in Sheffield to recruit a Management Accountant for an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team and contribute to the continued success of the business.Key Responsibilities: 

  • Produce and analyse monthly management accounts and KPIs
  • Investigate and explain financial variances to stakeholders across the business
  • Identify and analyse financial trends to inform investment and operational decisions
  • Drive commercial reporting and hold departmental heads accountable
  • Prepare annual budgets and regular forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-Flow, KPI benchmarking)
  • Produce open book accounting reports for the external governing bodies
  • Assist with year-end and statutory audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, processes, and policies
  • Develop and lead a high-performing finance team

Key Skills: 

  • Qualified accountant, ideally CIMA 
  • Experience in a group environment, preferably with multi-site operations
  • Strong organisational and management skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Detail-oriented and inquisitive
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with Sage
  • People management experience to reach deadlines and improve efficiencies across the team
