• Providing bookkeeping services for clients, including processing purchase, sales, and nominal ledgers
• Preparing VAT returns, management accounts, year-end accounts, and Corporation Tax returns
• Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
• Using technology to streamline bookkeeping processes and working closely with clients to ensure efficient operations
• Managing your individual workflow as part of the wider outsourcing team, dealing with a varied client portfolio including e-commerce, technology, and construction businesses
• Supporting junior colleagues in their development and helping promote other services within the firm

• AAT Level 4 part-qualified (preferred) or qualified by experience
• Experienced in practice or industry (practice experience preferred)
• Comfortable with IT systems, including accounting packages like Xero and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong in communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to attend and contribute to client meetings
• Accurate, methodical, and well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Personable and able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
