We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Interim Senior Management Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation with ambitious growth plans. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering timely, accurate financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly divisional management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
  • Analyse trends and variances to provide insightful financial reports to key stakeholders
  • Conduct comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Produce weekly cash flow forecasts by collaborating with AR, AP, and Payroll teams
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end consolidation packs and group cash flow reports
  • Ensure the integrity of financial systems and recommend improvements for streamlined reporting
  • Support the development of internal controls to enhance the financial environment
  • Prepare statutory accounts for legal entities within the division and manage audits and tax compliance
  • Provide essential financial data for budgeting and quarterly forecasting
  • Lead or contribute to ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to deliver actionable financial insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
