We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Interim Senior Management Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation with ambitious growth plans. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering timely, accurate financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly divisional management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
- Analyse trends and variances to provide insightful financial reports to key stakeholders
- Conduct comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Produce weekly cash flow forecasts by collaborating with AR, AP, and Payroll teams
- Assist in the preparation of month-end consolidation packs and group cash flow reports
- Ensure the integrity of financial systems and recommend improvements for streamlined reporting
- Support the development of internal controls to enhance the financial environment
- Prepare statutory accounts for legal entities within the division and manage audits and tax compliance
- Provide essential financial data for budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Lead or contribute to ad-hoc financial projects as needed
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
- Commercial mindset with the ability to deliver actionable financial insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
