Sewell Wallis are working with a modern day, progressive Accounts Practice who are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team as they continue to grow.

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will have the ability to run your own department and build your own client base up alongside advising current clients.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and oversee corporate tax advice - e.g., company de-mergers, holdco's, MBO's/MBI's, clearance letters, tax due diligence work, tax warranty and covenant reviews.
  • Lead and oversee incentive schemes e.g., EMI's, and other share option schemes.
  • Manage a small portfolio of tax compliance work (for large clients only).
  • Assist the internal team with tax matters (but not lead or manage the client).
  • Assist the internal team with complex Corporation tax computations and capital allowance queries (sense check role only).

  • Has a solid understanding of tax related issues (e.g., incentive schemes and corporate restructuring).
  • Confident and has the ability to build upon new and existing client relationships.
