Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an Assistant Accountant who will be working closely alongside the Financial Manager.

If you are AAT qualified and want to work within the Hospitality sector where there is opportunity for progression and growth, then this is a fantastic role for you.

Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience within a fast paced finance function
- Studying towards a qualified accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
- Strong communication skills at all seniority levels
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
- Confident using IT software, especially Excel
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

Duties:
- Assisting in the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- Ability to prepare draft Management Accounts
- Reconciling and maintaining Fixed Asset Register
- Providing accurate reports to Group
- Posting and preparation of Payroll, Accruals and Prepayments
- Analysis of Budget v Actual
- Support in the reparation of VAT returns
- Analysis of KPI's and Variances
- Reconciling Control Accounts
