About The Job:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our client's finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the finance department in various tasks including report running, analysis and administrator. Your strong organisational skills and proficiency in Excel will be key in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in data entry, invoice processing, and accounts receivable duties
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis using Excel spreadsheets
  • Conduct routine checks and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Support the finance team in month-end and year-end processes
  • Maintain and update financial records and documentation
  • General admin support and ad hoc tasks

Skills:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, within a finance department
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manipulate data and create spreadsheets
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
  • Good understanding of financial processes and terminology
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members
