The purpose of the Finance Assistant is to support the finance department with day-to-day functions through transactional accounting duties:

  • Inputting and processing purchase ledger invoices.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Dealing with any queries.
  • Updating and maintaining cashbooks in multiple currencies.
  • Creating new customer and supplier accounts.
  • Credit control.
  • Managing the expenses system.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

  • The successful candidate will be QAAT or currently studying towards.
  • You will be self-motivated with a "can do" attitude.
  • Previous experience is required, preferably within a high-volume transactional environment.
  • Good IT skills are essential.
