Junior/Trainee administrator with an interest in FINANCE OR someone with around a year’s experience wanted for a prestigious PROPERTY BUSINESS in Sheffield

This is a Modern, friendly family run Property business in Sheffield based close to the City Centre. The ideal candidate will have an interest in admin and finance as well as excellent organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible in the long term for managing the company's finances and thus the position requires an individual who is keen to learn this side of the business and be detail-oriented and wanting in the long term to work independently with minimal supervision.

The role

  • Learning the day to day Bookkeeping
  • Ensuring supplier terms are met
  • Produce rental demands to tenants
  • Chasing unpaid invoices
  • Learning how to do reconciliation/consolidation
  • Learning and assisting with payrolls and pension submissions.
  • Assisting with general administration
  • Learning to do compliance management with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assisting anyone who walks in the office & general enquiries

The ideal candidate

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry
  • Will have a degree and recently graduated or will consider a school leaver with good grades
  • Strong ability to use initiative and time management
  • Willingness to learn new processes and work with other team members in other departments
  • An interest in finance
