In this role, the Field Engineer will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting biogas upgrading equipment. The role involves traveling across the UK and Europe, conducting FAT and SAT testing, and working with a variety of biogas systems and equipment, including Siemens PLCs, compressors, and valves.

The ideal candidate will have experience in field servicing and maintenance of biogas systems, with a strong understanding of Siemens automation, PLC systems, and low-voltage electrical hardware. You should be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work both independently and within a team. A full driving license is required, as regular travel to multiple sites is part of the role.

The Role:

  • Install, commission, and service biogas upgrading equipment.
  • Troubleshoot biogas process issues, electrical and mechanical failures.
  • Perform FAT and SAT testing on new installations.
  • Travel across the UK and Europe as required up to a month at a time.

The Person:

  • Experience in field servicing, installation, and maintenance of biogas systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens automation, PLC systems, and electrical hardware.
  • Proven background in renewable energy systems.
  • Full driving license required.
