Graduate Product Engineer

Graduate Product Engineer required. My client is a growing manufacturer of metal spring components who due to continued growth are now seeking a Graduate Engineer to join their team in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will be working with the in-house design team, production staff, suppliers and clients to oversee production projects, ensuring accurate costing estimates, production schedules are met and clients are kept happy and impressed with the company.

It is envisaged that the ideal Graduate Project Engineer will have an understanding of technical drawings, solid modelling, specification writing & design for manufacturing techniques.

• Reviewing customer drawings and specifications
• Evaluating feasibility of production requirements for custom designs
• Proactive involvement in improvement initiatives
• Resolving any issues with customer's specification drawings
• Providing technical support solutions to customers as required
• Assisting with some sales enquiries

• HNC or above in a Mechanical Engineering orientated subject
• Based in a commutable distance of Sheffield
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in the use of Solidworks/ AutoCAD desirable but not essential

• Salary- 24,000-28,000 (dependant on experience)
• Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00. Friday 08:30 - 14:00.
• Holiday allowance and pension
