A global leader in advanced speciality materials and complex components is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team.

Role Overview:

The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Manager in maintaining high customer satisfaction and ensuring compliance with international and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the retention of key quality approvals (e.g., ISO9001, AS9100, AS9120)
  • Acting as the primary contact for quality standards, including regulatory and customer-specific requirements
  • Supporting audit teams to ensure compliance
  • Authorising product releases within Europe
  • Overseeing supply chain compliance processes
  • Participating in the MRB process for product rejections in Europe
  • Managing customer complaints and ensuring timely root cause corrective actions
  • Validating new product introduction (NPI) processes for compliance with standards
  • Ensuring training and competency plans for operational teams meet necessary standards

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in quality, business/marketing, or engineering
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, AS9120
  • Experience liaising with certification bodies for audits
  • Ideally, a degree in a technical engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Membership/accreditation from a professional body is highly desirable
  • Experience in aerospace or a similar industry is advantageous
