Principal EC&I Engineer | Sheffield | £600 - £800 per day (OUTSIDE IR35) | Hybrid
The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced EC&I (Electrical, Control and Instrumentation) Engineer who is keen to play an integral part in the successful delivery of a high-profile, world first defence project?
Ford & Stanley Interim are currently partnered with a specialist design, build and manufacturing consultancy responsible for a number of world first projects.
Specific areas of expertise include the design, build and manufacture of bespoke solutions within Defence & Aerospace.
Our client has several highly confidential and security sensitive projects, and we require a well-seasoned EC&I professional to lead the charge on all technical aspects of their projects.
Our client is focused on rapid growth and expansion, building upon a world class Engineering capability.
Candidate Essentials:
- 12+ years’ experience in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation.
- Ability to gain SC Clearance
- Must be willing to travel to Sheffield when required (Ideally 3 days per week – our client are willing to be flexible on this for the right person)
Desirable:
- Previously or currently working in a Hydraulic / Crane AND/OR Control Systems Environment
- Understanding of CAT1 or similar standards
