Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - South Yorkshire - up to £55,000 - Ref 1746

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in South Yorkshire. Salary up to £55,000.

The company is a leading engineering organisation that provide bespoke engineering solutions to a wealth of clients across the globe. They operate within a multitude of different sectors and currently have over 100 people working for them.

To support the continued growth of the business and to deal with the amount of work they have now and forecasted they have the need to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Mechanical Design engineer, you will be designing projects from cradle to grave. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that are delivered into multiple industries, including those that are heavily regulated.

Essential Requirements:

• 5 Years Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
• Experience with a 3D CAD Package, Ideally Inventor
• Either SC Cleared or Eligibility to be SC Cleared
• Understanding of Mathcad or similar
• Heavy Engineering Design
