Are you a Test and Commissioning Engineer with experience working in the water industry who wants to join a business who can offer ongoing training and development options?
The company are going from strength to strength and have set out a strategic growth plan to capitalise on their position in the market. Given this ongoing growth they are looking to bring in an additional Test and Commissioning Engineer to join the team. This major national utility infrastructure company are in the process of tendering for several other large-scale projects giving plenty of opportunity for future growth and progression.
As a test and commissioning engineer you will work on a range of contracts covering both clean water and waste water projects. You will be involved in pre-commissioning, inspection and commissioning phases. Ensuring all sites are commissioned on time, to the highest quality and within budget. The role will be a mix of home working, site, and office based and will require flexibility to travel nationwide, probably staying away a couple of nights a week. As part of a smaller business that are dedicated to personal development will give you the opportunity to continue training and receiving formal qualifications. The company are always willing to invest in any training proposed if there is a business case for it.
The role:
- Hybrid structure with time spent working at home, in the office and on site
- Likely to spend a couple of nights away a week
- Covering pre-commissioning, commissioning, and inspection phases
- Ensure all commissioning activities are completed on time, to the highest quality and in budget
The person:
- A background in the water / wastewater sector
- Test and commissioning background
- Familiar with control systems
