This role would suit an ambitious Architectural Technician looking to build and develop a career within a well-established company that provide all the training to ensure you're set up to succeed from the off.
The Role:
- Primary responsibility will involve translating the design concepts created by architects into detailed technical drawings and specifications that can be used for construction.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure designs meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Produce comprehensive construction documentation, including detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Review and evaluate contractor submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
- Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and construction methods.
- Use BIM software to create and manage digital representations of the physical and functional characteristics of buildings.
- Oversee the technical aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize advanced software and technology tools for drafting, modelling, and project management.
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday 0830 - 1700 - opportunity for Hybrid working.
The Person:
- Architectural Technician, Architectural Technologist or Architectural Assistant
- Proficiency in CAD (Revit cross training provided)
