Architectural Technologist

Bennett and Game are currently assisting an award winning, UK leading architectural practise with their search for an ambitious Architectural Technologist to join their ever-growing team local to Darlington. With 20 years of architectural experience under their belt, this Revit using practise have established an outstanding reputation within the healthcare sector, growing there to around 35 employees. The reason for their spike in recruitment is due to an influx of projects and the plans for rapid growth in the near future.

The successful Architectural Technologist will have the opportunity to develop a vast portfolio working on a range of extra care, residential and healthcare projects on a UK wide basis. The most successful Architectural Technologist is going to have strong communicative and team working skills which can be displayed when collaborating on projects. Our client are open minded in their search however are keen to speak with candidates who are skilled/ proficient with Revit software. Putting their employees first, they encourage a good work life balance as well as offering in house training and progression opportunities.

• Competitive salary ranging between £30,000 to £45,000

• The use of Revit of a daily basis
• Producing high-quality drawings and designs
• Working across RIBA stages with a focus on the technical stages
• Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, local planning authorities and building control
• Work at a practice that takes pride in developing their staff
• Work on a variety of projects within numerous sectors
• Opportunity to progress and achieve CIAT status
• Familiar with Technical Building Design and Building Regulations to prepare packages and make submissions
• Carrying out site visits

• Relevant degree qualified
• Experience working within a variety of sectors, preferably extra care, residential or healthcare
• Revit proficient
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• 3+ years post qualification experience
• Live in a commutable distance of Darlington
