A leading ground engineering company based in South Yorkshire is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to join their growing team. Specializing in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for piling and foundation projects, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant construction projects across the UK. The position involves supporting ground beam and piling works on-site with a strong focus on accuracy and technical precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately set out and level groundworks in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform As-Built Surveys to ensure all work complies with project requirements.
• Use a variety of setting out equipment, such as GPS, total stations, and levels.
• Collaborate with site managers and teams to ensure project timelines and standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of all site activities.
• Ensure all Health & Safety standards are adhered to on-site.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in ground engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Proficiency in setting out techniques and using relevant equipment.
• Experience in As-Built Surveys.
• Previous experience in the house building industry is an advantage.
• IT proficiency and strong record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Full, clean driving license and a valid CSCS card are essential.
