Description

The Area Sales Manager will play a critical role in expanding market reach by identifying and securing new business opportunities while strengthening existing client partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and business development, preferably within the industrial machinery, steel fabrication, and Engineering. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.

  • Sales & Market Expansion

    • Develop and execute a business development strategy to increase sales and market share.
    • Identify and engage potential customers in the steel fabrication, manufacturing, and construction sectors.
    • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
    • Managing product Sales of £250,000 - £3m
  • Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners.
    • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase solutions.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and after-sales support to ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives

    • Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and marketing, to develop tailored solutions for clients.
    • Participate in industry trade shows, networking events, and conferences to enhance visibility.
  • Performance & Reporting

    • Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends using CRM tools.
