Sewell Wallis are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a well-established renowned global company based out of Chapletown, Sheffield. This is a fantastic company that really retain and look after their staff, with the average length of service in the Accounts team at around 12 years - it goes to show that this is somewhere you can really settle and make a career!

This role has tons of potential for growth and development too, in the next 2-3 years there will be an opening for promotion to senior/management, and the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and develop your mentoring skills. Initially you'll need to be keen to learn, eager to get to grips with the company procedures and learn how they work to ensure you have the correct backing to climb the ladder.

What will you be doing?

  • Processing high volumes of sales ledger invoices.
  • Creating manual billing documents for reimbursements, rebates and other charges.
  • Complete credit risk assessments.
  • Liaising with external and internal customers to chase debt and handle queries.
  • Reconciliation of statements.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Have previous experience working with Accounts Receivable / Credit Control.
  • Confident working with a Sales Ledger.
  • Ideally have experience with high volume invoice processing.
  • Real attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset.
