Enclosing Machine Operator – Sheffield
Salary: £24,000 (Negotiable Depending on Experience)
Shifts: 6:00am - 1:30pm & 1:30pm - 9:00pm (Rotating Shifts)
We are working with a well-established and innovative print and marketing solutions provider based in Sheffield. Known for their high-quality production and commitment to excellence, they specialise in delivering cutting-edge print, direct mail, and marketing campaigns for a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Enclosing Machine Operator to join their production team.
The Role- Operate or assist on enclosing machinery to ensure smooth production.
- Monitor machine output and perform regular quality checks.
- Set up and adjust enclosing machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and report maintenance issues to minimise downtime.
- Enclose and insert items following company specifications and standards.
- Maintain machine speeds while ensuring quality control.
- Experience in the print industry is essential, preferably operating enclosing machinery.
- Knowledge of enclosing machine brands such as Buhrs, Kern, Norpak, Pitney Bowes, Bell & Howell, Bowe, Bluecrest, CMC, Sitma, or Neopost (Quadient) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve minor machine issues.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
- Can work well both independently and within a team.
- Good communication skills, liaising with different departments to meet production targets.
- Starting salary from £24,000, negotiable depending on experience.
- Rotating shift pattern: 6:00am - 1:30pm & 1:30pm - 9:00pm.
