Job Details:
Skilled Bar Bending Machinist / Press Setter Operator, you will be responsible for Setting and Operating CNC Rebar Machine to perform tasks such as Bar Bending and Wire coiling.
Ensuring products are manufactured to an appropriate standard and specified tolerances to customer satisfaction and maximise production performance. You will retrieve the correct materials and load equipment to meet the demands of the production schedule / Kanban demands.
Supervise the machine throughout the production process and make any necessary adjustments to produce results. You will also be required to conduct general operative and housekeeping tasks as part of the production team within a manufacturing engineering environment, whilst adhering to and promoting health and safety and best practice.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes:
Candidates must have previous experience of setting and operating machines, ideally Rebar / metal forming / Press Machines / Bending / Coil Wire and have experience within an engineering production manufacturing, shopfloor environment. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude that is willing to multitask.
Your Pay & Benefits:
Machinist Setter/Operator paying a starting salary up to circa 28,500 per annum + Overtime + Bonus. Includes shift allowance, salary negotiable depending on Machinist Skills and Experience. Full time role working morning and afternoon shifts on weekly rotation Monday to Friday. Overtime will be paid at premium rates. Excellent Benefits package.
