Position: Regional Manager
Location: Northeast and Northwest

Your Mission:

As our Regional Manager, you will take full responsibility for the performance and growth of your designated region. You’ll lead, motivate, and manage Area and Senior Area Managers to drive excellence and surpass sales targets. Your goal will be to foster a high-performance team culture while generating sustainable specifications and project opportunities with both existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and guide your team to continually improve performance, efficiency, and collaboration. Ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to succeed.
  • Business Growth: Develop and implement a robust regional Business Development Plan to stimulate growth and create new business opportunities. Build lasting relationships with clients and contractors to secure long-term success.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Drive and exceed annual sales targets by focusing on specification sales, project opportunities, and creating new business channels.
  • Client & Contractor Relationships: Regularly liaise with existing and potential clients to foster trust and drive repeat business. Manage key relationships with contractors to ensure consistent quality and service delivery.
  • Strategy & Reporting: Report on business trends, market insights, and performance metrics to senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the overall sales strategy for your region.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: You have a proven track record in a specification sales environment within the construction or flat roofing industry. You’re familiar with managing and developing relationships, and you have a history of leading and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Your ability to lead by example, coach your team, and drive results sets you apart. You understand the importance of teamwork and are committed to developing your people.
  • Sales Expertise: With experience in generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and meeting targets, you’re adept at growing market share and increasing revenue.
  • Technical Knowledge: You have a strong understanding of flat roofing systems, building regulations, and industry standards, enabling you to make informed decisions and offer expert guidance to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or relevant professional qualification (desirable).
  • Member of the Institute of Roofing (desirable).
  • Experience in the flat roofing industry, including knowledge of waterproofing systems.
  • A track record of success in budget management, performance review, and strategy development.
