Customer Service Supervisor £38,000 Excellent Benefits Hybrid Working  Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a key Manufacturing business based in Sheffield, who're looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to join their team.  Our clients are a leading manufacturing business dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their valued customers. They pride themselves on their commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As the Customer Service Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing our customer service operations. You will oversee a team of customer service representatives, ensuring they provide timely and effective support to their customers.  Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and supervise the customer service team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve performance targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer service experience, streamline processes, and improve efficiency.
  • Reviews daily/monthly operational reports to analyse process cycle times, workflow volumes, customer satisfaction and handling times.
  • Monitor customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as production, logistics, and sales to address customer needs and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage customer complaints associated with orders, deliveries, returns, coordinating internally fast resolution and response to the customer
  • Prepares and presents monthly management data.
  • Develop appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with customer service principles and practices and applicable laws, rules, and (export) regulations, monitors compliance with these areas

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a customer service supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Export order knowledge
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to address customer issues effectively.
