Shift: 17:00 - 03:00 Monday - Friday
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our clients team. As a Class 1 Trunking Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances, ensuring that they are delivered safely and on time.
Responsibilities include
- Transporting goods and materials to various destinations
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintaining a clean and organised truck
- Ensuring proper documentation of deliveries and pickups
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate schedules
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional truck driver
- Clean driving record ( max 6 points sp30 )
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of current road safety regulations and industry best practices
- Physically fit
