Job Title: Motor Claims ParalegalLocation: SheffieldSalary: Up to £30,000 depending on experienceRole Overview & Daily Responsibilities:Assist lead file handlers in managing and progressing motor claims and RTA cases efficiently. Draft and send standard letters to advance case progress via the ProClaim case management system. Act as the primary point of contact for the Fee Earner by answering incoming calls and handling inquiries where possible. Take detailed messages for the Fee Earner and ensure they are promptly relayed. Meet monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with your line manager. Regularly update and maintain accurate records in the case management system. Ensure compliance with the firm's standards for filing systems and information management processes. Schedule appointments for the Fee Earner as required. Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding disbursement payments, outstanding accounts, and other related tasks. Support the firm's smooth operations by assisting other staff during peak periods, including document preparation, task management, call handling, and general administrative duties. Sort, organize, and distribute mail as needed. Consistently perform effectively in a target-driven environment.
