We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join a major Highways Public Realm scheme in Sheffield. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a significant project with a minimum duration of one year. The role is outside IR35 and provides a competitive day rate.
Key Responsibilities:
路Oversee and manage site operations on a Highways Public Realm project, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
路Plan and coordinate site activities to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
路Supervise and manage site teams, including subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and delivery.
路Ensure all works are carried out in line with contractual requirements and specifications.
路Manage temporary works and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
路Contribute to the successful delivery of bridge structures and associated works (if applicable).
Essential Criteria:
路Proven Highways or UK Tier 1 contractor experience.
路Strong knowledge of construction methods and standards in public realm projects.
路Excellent site management and leadership skills.
路Experience in bridges is highly desirable but not essential.
路Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
