Your role as a Cost Controller within the Fleet department will include being responsible for a range of Technical and Cost Controlling decisions. You will work as part of a team that consists of Technical Controllers, Service Advisors and Administrators and will work across a range of processes that will entail delivering daily, weekly and monthly targets.
Main Duties:
- Scrutinise, challenge and authorise the costs of up to 150 daily jobs
- Manage estimate/authorisation Workflow via portals, emails and phone calls
- Interface with up to 100 Maintenance Suppliers and their respective billing structures
- Quality checking of compliance documentation
- Investigation of Warranty violations
- Report on billing accuracy of suppliers within Maintenance network
- Excellent IT skills preferably with experience in a range of software packages including Excel, Work and PowerPoint
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant Automotive Engineering and/or Maintenance field
- 5+ years of experience working in a Workshop and/or Fleet environment
Working Hours, Pay Rate and Other Information:
You will be required to work Monday to Friday, between 8am until 5pm (mix of shifts within these hours).
The pay rate that is being offered for this position is £20.90 per hour.
This role is being offered on a temporary ongoing basis until February 2024, when it will then be reviewed in line with business needs.
