Then look no further….Technical Support Chemist (Maternity Cover approx.10mths)Salary - Circa of £30,450 per annum (plus benefits)Hours - 45 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pmPostcode of depot - S9 1HFAs the Technical Support Chemist, you will work within the Waste Treatment Division (WTD) and visit new and existing customers to assist with the listing, segregation, labelling, collection and disposal of their hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You will assist the Commercial Team with the technical assessment of enquiries, the preparation of transportation documentation and the preparation of data for invoicing.This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week Monday to Friday, on a fixed term contract.Our promise to you- 25 days’ annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays- Pension scheme- Life Insurance- Discretionary bonus scheme- On the job training/progression- Recognition- Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors ServiceWhat will you be doing?- Provide support to WTD clients/customers by listing, segregating and labelling packaged chemical waste on their premises as required- Provide the necessary information so that chemical waste can be safely transported within current legislation- Ensure all necessary labels and transport documentation are accurate, available and conform to current legislation- Safely transport packaged chemical waste as required to permitted waste disposal sites- Assist WTD drivers as necessary with labelling or segregation of their loads- Assist the Sales Team as required by sampling loads and providing advice to customers- Maintain and develop positive relationships with clientsWhat are we looking for?- A degree in chemistry or related subject- A full, valid driving licence- A licence to drive 7.5T vehicles or underAbout UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the nation’s leading waste and resource management companies.
