Kenton Black are pleased to be working with a Environmental Testing facility based in Sheffield who are seeking a highly organised and diligent Lab Technician to join their team in Sheffield.This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a structured and precise work environment and is looking for their first step into a lab. Responsibilities of a Lab Technician:- Conduct routine laboratory procedures and experiments as prescribed.- Collect, prepare and test samples while ensuring quality control measures are followed.- Collect and process data, maintaining accurate records of experiments and results.- Coordinate with other team members to ensure the effective completion of all tasks.Requirements of a Lab Tech are:- Valid RTW in the UK.- Good manual dexterity and precision to handle small or delicate instruments.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work meticulously.- Proficient in the use of computers for data entry and reporting.- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.- Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues effectively.Please note that the short length of the contract requires a quick learner capable of integrating into the team and getting up to speed with minimal delay.If you are passionate about science and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
