The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will be responsible for regular customer visits, developing sales and account managing existing accounts UK wide. Office based near Sheffield when not on the road.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling a technical engineering product with a preference to MRO products, such as bearings, power transmission, pumps, seals, lubricants, fasteners, industrial gearboxes or similar MRO products. Full product training provided.

- Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers within the mechanical engineering industry. Selling into industries such as marine, food & bev, oil & gas, power generation, water and more.
- Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling mechanical seals and associated products.
- Maintaining new engineering product sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
- Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Office based near Sheffield when not visiting customers on the road.
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer or similar with experience selling a technical engineering product.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a global engineering manufacturer.
- Experience selling a technical engineering product with a preference to MRO products, such as bearings, power transmission, pumps, seals, lubricants, fasteners, industrial gearboxes or similar MRO products
- A technical mechanical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous
- Experience selling other mechanical MRO engineering products into industries such as power generation, water, oil & gas, marine, food & bev and an aptitude for learning new products will also be strongly considered
