About the Role
Are you a driven and strategic Business Development Manager looking for your next challenge? Our client are a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield, specialising in high-quality cast products for a range of industries, including Defence, Energy, and engineering.
As they continue to grow, they are looking for a results-oriented Sales professional to identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth.
This role would suit someone from a Foundry / Complex Alloys background that wants to work for an agile business with the ability to manufacture low volume, often bespoke metal castings from huge valves for the Oil & Gas market through to gas turbine blades.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to expand market presence.
- Identify and target new customers in key sectors.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in business development ideally from a Foundry / Alloys background.
- Strong knowledge of cast products, foundry operations, or precision engineering (preferred).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to winning new business.
