Business Development ManagerNational£55,000 + Uncapped Commission, Bonus, Car allowanceElevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with this leading-edge, Global business to recruit a new business focused Business Development Manager.The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and support the growth of the business. This will primarily involve researching, prospecting, and securing contracts with ‘Ideal Clients’ for core service lines: commercial print, web-to-print, warehouse, and fulfilment services. These customers will be key players in the Retail, FMCG, Hospitality and Leisure markets.

Business Development Manager Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure revenue and profitability targets are achieved against budget through business development related activity
  • Research and identify new business opportunities
  • Generate leads via cold call/contact, networking and the use of social media
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline targeting customers suitable for the business
  • Maximise all revenue opportunities through the cross selling of wider group services
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of prospects and contacts, activity and opportunities via CRM system

Skills & Experience required: 

  • This is a new business role, so a demonstrable track record in winning new business is the most important attribute for this position
  • Experienced working in a similar role, ideally selling commercial print, web-to-print, warehouse, and fulfilment services
  • A proven track record of securing contracts and achieving targets
  • Have the ability to sell both commodity products and a solutions led approach
  • Tenacity and resilience in order to qualify leads and prospects
  • A problem solver that naturally looks for solutions for customers
  • Confident in using your initiative to prioritise and organise your work
  • A great communicator
