Product Manager

Location: Rotherham-based - 2 days a week in officeDepartment: Senior Management TeamSalary: Circa £65k + Co Car + Benefits

Main Purpose of the Job:We are seeking a Sales Product Manager to join our client's business. You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the product, defining go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and ensuring the product's success in the marketplace. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the product expert, ensuring the sales team understands product features, use cases, and how they address complex customer needs.
  • Conduct product training sessions for sales teams to position the product effectively.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to stay updated on product improvements, updates, and roadmaps.
  • Work with sales and marketing to develop effective GTM strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and packaging.
  • Lead product launches and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Create sales enablement materials, including sales decks, case studies, and product demos.
  • Track key performance metrics related to product sales and market penetration.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer pain points, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies that could affect product positioning.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations to forecast product revenue and sales targets.
  • Represent the company at conferences in and out of the UK.
  • Lead product meetings with our client and third-party suppliers.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in product management for medical devices, sales, or a related role. B2B sales or technology product experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of product development cycles, sales processes, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with internal teams and external clients.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
