- Develop go-to-market plans for new services or market segments, ensuring cross-departmental alignment and resource allocation.
- Guide market analysis initiatives, including competitor benchmarking, to adjust strategies proactively and maintain competitive advantage.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent strategy, including succession planning, for the sales division.
- Set standards for client interactions that enhance brand reputation, emphasising consistency in service delivery and relationship building.
- Establish recognition and reward programs to retain top talent, align performance with company values, and incentivise high achievement.
- Oversee the development and implementation of governance policies to ensure full compliance with regulatory standards across all sales operations.
- Regularly review and refine compliance frameworks, including property legislation, data security, and anti-money laundering (AML) protocols.
- Establish audit controls and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency in all sales transactions.
- Collaborate closely with legal and compliance teams to proactively address regulatory and contractual matters in high-value client transactions.
- Strategise with legal and compliance teams to proactively manage risk in complex, high-value transactions.
- Oversee the department’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with company financial objectives.
- Work closely with the MD in setting targets, and monitor performance, identifying and implementing measures to optimise profitability and cost efficiency.
- Assess and drive return on investment (ROI) for sales initiatives, utilising financial insights to inform strategic adjustments.
- Communicate sales performance, market trends, and strategic insights to the board and senior leadership, influencing company-wide decisions.
- Previous experience as a Sales Director within the Estate Agency sector is essential.
- Experience leading/managing multiple branches of estate agents is essential.
- Proven experience in developing & executing high-level sales strategies.
- Expertise in financial planning, budget management, profit and loss analysis, and financial reporting within a sales environment.
- Solid understanding of property-related legislation, including anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, data protection, and compliance standards.
- Ability to analyse complex data, generate actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, and influence key decision makers, both internal and external.
- REQUIRED: Full, Clean UK Driver’s license.
