Nursery Assistant (Level 3 Qualified) - Full-Time, Immediate Start
Are you passionate about working with children and making a real difference in their lives? We are seeking a caring and dedicated Nursery Assistant with a Level 3 Nursery/Early Years qualification to join a growing, Ofsted-accredited setting. This is a long-term, ongoing role starting ASAP.
About the Role- Position: Nursery Assistant (Level 3 Qualified)
- Hours: Full time, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (with some flexibility for start and finish times)
- Location: A unique nursery setting alongside a residential centre for adults with substance abuse issues.
- Age Group: From babies to children up to 10 years old.
- Capacity: The nursery can cater for up to 36 children, although current numbers are lower as the setting continues to grow.
- Start Date: ASAP
The nursery is situated in a well-connected suburb of Sheffield, easily accessible by public transport. With several bus routes and local amenities nearby, commuting to the setting is convenient for those who live in or around the Sheffield area. This welcoming and supportive environment is ideal for anyone seeking a fulfilling role within a growing nursery team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality early years care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support children's learning and development, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Work closely with families and the wider team to create a supportive environment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Nursery/Early Years qualification (this is essential for maintaining safe ratios).
- Has experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Is empathetic, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care and education.
- Can work well as part of a team in a unique and evolving environment.
- Is available to start immediately and can commit to a long-term role.
