Civil Design Engineer
Salary: Up to £50,000 + £4.5K Car Allowance
Location: Sheffield, Yorkshire

The Company:

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed designs for wastewater and clean water infrastructure, managing design output, and collaborating with clients and senior management to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake detailed design for water infrastructure projects
  • Agree on design fundamentals and manage CAD output
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Assist Project Managers and represent the company at client and contractor meetings
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with statutory service providers
  • Manage documentation, drawings, and coordinate with clients and contractors


What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
  • Experience in wastewater and clean water infrastructure design, including attenuation and flow balancing
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental processes
  • Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent
