Geo-Environmental Engineer

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Salary: 32k-36k

This is a role for Geo-environmental/ Geotechnical engineers that want to join a large but tight-knit, multi-disciplinary team in Sheffield, with great prospects for internal progression and professional growth. You will be responsible for leading technical assessments and delivering high-quality engineering solutions, managing projects from initial investigations through to detailed reporting and implementation. Working with multidisciplinary teams across a variety of projects, offering unique opportunities for project exposure outside of the typical consultancy parameters.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Oversee geotechnical and geo-environmental assessments, ensuring that investigations and designs comply with industry standards.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct site investigations, analyse geotechnical data, and prepare detailed, clear reports.
  • Problem Solving: Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to address complex engineering challenges.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and seamless project delivery.
  • Sustainability: Advocate for and implement environmentally responsible practices throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
