The role of the Estimator - Architectural Metal will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with a high end range of architectural metal systems such as: balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
- Carrying out take-offs from drawings and measurements to produce bills of quantities/price schedules
- Dealing with enquiries from various clients via phone calls and emails
- Preparing and submitting accurate and detailed tenders within the timeframe provided
- Following up all submitted tenders, receiving feedback from clients and updating records accordingly
- Conduct handover meetings passing secured projects to our production team
- Continue to develop relationships with clients to secure further business
- Liaising with colleagues to facilitate the progression of tenders and projects
- Producing estimates for projects ranging from £100k to £1m in value
The ideal applicant will be Estimator - Architectural Metal with:
- Must have estimating experience within the architectural metal market sector, dealing with balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
- Must have sound Excel and AutoCAD skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
- Ideally will have experience dealing with commercial and residential projects
- Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
