AWS Cloud Engineer - Sheffield (Remote) - £50kFlexible/Remote Working | AWS, Terraform | Personal Development BudgetAda Meher is currently partnered with a growing SaaS company on their search for an AWS Cloud Engineer, as they continue to develop their exciting product roadmap alongside the Lead Platform & Infrastructure Engineer. As such this role comes with the support network of an experienced Platform Engineer but also autonomy to pioneer developments such as their planned transition to a greenfield Terraform account.The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform and be enthused by learning and utilising the latest tech available, loving to learn and try new things utilising the personal development budget made available to each employee.You can expect to work mainly remotely, however there will be office presence required on a 'business needs' rather than routine basis, so you should be happy to travel to the office once or twice a month long term. In terms of working flexibility, the company employ a fully flexible hours policy, allowing employees to complete their responsibilities and tasks around their life commitments, not the other way around.To be considered:
  • Prior experience in a DevOps, Cloud Support Engineer or SysAdmin role
  • Demonstrable commercial experience with AWS DevOps and surrounding services (EC2, S3 etc)
  • Strong Experience in CI/CD and relevant technology (Eg. ConcourseCI, CircleCI, Amazon CodePipeline, TeamCity)
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform preferred)
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or similar container-based technology
