Job Title:Commercial Area ManagerSalary:40,000 (Plus 5,000 car allowance)Location:Sheffield, UKThe Commercial Operations Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing parking operations in selected locations across the UK. Reporting to the Commercial Area Manager, this role requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a customer-centric approach to ensure operational excellence and drive revenue growth.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day parking operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise parking attendants and support staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high service standards.
  • Analyse financial data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for revenue optimisation and cost control.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue performance through marketing initiatives and customer-centric market propositions.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with local partners and vendors to enhance service offerings and customer experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth functioning of parking sites, addressing operational issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise staff to ensure efficient operation of parking facilities, resolving any customer inquiries or complaints promptly.
  • Monitor revenue streams and implement strategies to maximise profitability, including pricing optimisation and value-added services.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any facility maintenance or repair needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in parking operations management, preferably in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a focus on fostering a positive work culture and team engagement.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
